IP
camera is one of the most commonly visible things now in homes and offices. In
these days, people generally hang on to these cameras for better security of
their properties. On the other hand, this field being a huge one, a lot of third
party companies are also offering the same product. Even in China, several
companies are now buying and selling IP cameras for the business. Well there
are two streams in this regard. The first one is the manufacturer itself where
the second option is the vendors or third parties. So how are they different to
each other? Why someone asks for the manufacturer and someone asks for the
vendors? Is there really any difference between the manufacturer and the
vendor?

my perspective, there is a huge gap between these two. Obviously manufacturers
are always the best option whenever you are buying anything especially when it
is about the security of your near and dear ones. Let’s have a look on the
promises and shortcomings of your decision.
As
a businessman, I do have IP cameras installed in my factories. I have three
garment manufacturing factories in three different places and it is not always
possible for me to go and have a look on all the factories all the time. For
this, as per the suggestion of my dad, I got the IP cameras installed in my
factories few years back. I had a friend who worked in a shop. So I informed
him about the plan and within a few days, all the cameras were mounted and I
started having an eye on every worker from different angels. Well after few
days I got to realize the fact as the cameras often stopped working or
sometimes they got stuck while capturing the video. One day while having a chit
chat with my dad, I denounced the quality of my IP cameras. To my utter
astonishment, he just gave a smile and told me that I knew this would happen.
Then he informed me that he did not like my idea of getting the cameras in a
cheap rate from local vendors, rather he would like to opine for the
manufacturer. He did not tell me anything as he wanted me to get a lesson. Well
that was the hell of a lesson taught by my father very well.
So
I do not want you to do the same mistake. Please go for OEM manufacturers who
can cover up everything for you. OEM manufacturers of Original Equipment
Manufacturers are the people who produce their spare parts by themselves and
they are always on the safe side who elect the OEM manufacturers as their
supplier of security products. If you cannot rely on the security protocols
totally, what is the use of them? No my friend there is no use of them.
